Alex Clark hails from the bustling cow town of Witchita, Kansas. As a standout high school goalkeeper, Clark earned all-city and all-state honors, and when the time came, he chose to make the trip to the "big city" to attend Rockhurst. As a 6 foot 1 junior, Clark has become a quality keeper and a stand out student. He hopes to attend dental school upon graduating. Teammates speak highly of Clark's athleticism and keen eye for the game of soccer. Expect to see a few sprawling saves and acrobatic antics when watching Alex tend the goal.

While Clark has become a staple of Hawks soccer, his talents extend beyond the field and classroom. As a respected fashion virtuoso, Alex put his dress intuition to use for the men's soccer team last year, playing a vital role in choosing the style for the new team uniforms. His fashion sense exudes a sort of Radiohead mates with "Urban Outfitters" vibe. He explained, "I like to keep things on the cunning edge of fashion, on and off the field. Our jerseys aren't really in line with Rockhurst tradition but I like to think outside the box. For example, I've been taking a lot of heat for wearing a neckerchief, but I don't see the big deal. It's a masculine accessory that really brings an outfit together."

If you'd like to check out Clark's snappy dress and dynamic goalkeeping skills, be sure to make it out to Bourke Field this March for the Hawks spring season.
